The Pastelgrain pads contain twelve sheets and are available in 3 sizes, 18x24cm, 24x30cm and 30x40cm. Each pad contain 3 sheets each of 4 different Pastelgrain colours. The sheets are separated with a layer of glassine paper.

Pastelgrain allows you to use texture creatively. You can accentuate textural effects and add depth by using the grain in the paper, but also progressively build layers of pastel to control the amount of texture. You can also plan for, and reach, the stage where areas of the painting can be textural and others not.
